Finally I found a loc stylist that has a flexible schedule, easy booking process, great skill with ny hair anddddd good customer service. I was so happy with my service, Joy is an absolute gem.
She provided terrible service and when it was brought to her attention, she offered to fix it, which she did. A few days later, I tried to book another service when I realized that she blocked me. I'm the one who should have blocked her after the experience. All that smiling in my face and pretending to be nice. Also, whatever product she uses it so thick and hard. Second time going to Miss Joy! Once again she slayed my hair. Clean work station and relaxation to its finest. She gave me exactly what I wanted and didn’t let me leave until she saw perfection!
For my appointment, I got loc curls to celebrate my birthday. Right after my hair was washed (with no conditioner applied, btw), I was put under the dryer for 5-10 minutes. In my experience at other loc salons and in doing my own hair, the locs have to be soaking wet for the curls to set properly. Then, the stylist kept stopping during my retwist to text on her phone.
