Beautiful preserve but loaded with ticks...takes the fun away
I took my Scouts on a hike through the Preserve. Everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed the scenery so much!
Go when the Mountain Laurals bloom....it will be even awesomer!
We went the day after a big storm and although some portions of the trail were water-logged we were still able to make our way through. Falls were beautiful and easily accessible. The preserve was well kept, clean and trails were well marked. We would go again if back in that area!
Beautiful forest with lots of great trails and creeks. A great place for a 3 mile or an 8 mile hike with my dogs.
Awesome place to hike, no garbage laying around, my dogs loved it. No one else around except for a bear in the far far distance very peaceful.
We hiked yesterday and didn't run into anyone on the entire hike, we traveled on the yellow, red and gray trails and it was the most perfect day!! We WILL be back again to travel the untraveled and new trails!!
