Doubled insurance price after being with them for almost 20 years. Then refused to refund a month of insurance payed for that was not supposed to be autodrafted from my account since I had already canceled their service and moved my account to Statefarm. Very shady business practices. When I asked them to explain, they said they couldn't do a refund since I didn't bring it to their attention. Even though it was their mistake. If I have one regret over my years of having car insurance, continuing the relationship I had as long as I did with this company is at the top of the list. For one thing, I was way overcharged compared to the rates I got elsewhere. For a second, when I finally wised up to the fact that the grass is much greener and opted out, they cancelled me earlier than the date I had on my statement which caused me to have my registration suspended for three months. These people are &$@&$0! I bought insurance and expected to be insured the same day I purchased the policy. I drove around for 7 days not insured without my knowledge. I had a wreck on the 7th day after purchase of this policy. When the lady I hit contacted Wade Hunts office to file a claim they said I wasnt insured. WHAT A WAY TO FIND OUT I DIDNT HAVE INSURANCE!! I would hate for anyone else to have to inder what I've been through. DO NOT BUY INSURANCE THROUGH THIS COMPANY!
