Nationwide insurance is a horrible insurance company. They canceled my policy, which was on a yearly payment schedule without notice. The first indication I had from them was a letter stating my policy had been canceled for nonpayment. Then I got a letter from the state saying that I was being fined for letting my insurance lapse. There is definitely more reputable insurance companies..
