The openers are Great, but the whole process after that was a nightmare we almost lost the house. They asked for the same documents multiple times very disorganized I believe a lot falls on the underwriter but either way I would stay away. We were told weekly for about 2 months "should have the clear to close after "these documents are signed" I paid the Homeowners insurance in full 85days before we even got to closing (just one example of how chaotic the process was). RecommendedThe best bank we have ever closed for. No waiting for wires and the buyer never experiences any issues at the table. Awesome bank!!! Would recommend Joanne Fava to anyone ESPECIALLY a first time buyer as she is knowledgeable and is always accessible.
Horrible experience. They drag out the process and after almost 4 months when the seller gets frustrated and wants to cancel the deal, they raise the interest rate. I closed at 5.25% last month because it was too late to switch to a new lender. I don't recommend doing business with Nationwide equities. Not an honest, professional company.
i normally don’t do these but, NEVER do business with this company. i started my loan process with them. we had to get an extension because they kept asking for more paperwork, went all the up until a week before i was suppose to settle on my house and they DROPPED MY LOAN. every single week they needed more and more paperwork. this is clearly my first time buying a house so i’m not 100% sure with the whole process but i know it shouldn’t have been this difficult. luckily, i found a different company the same day and didn’t ... read more
