They are the best place for your child. I switched my daughter from Akron Children's to Nationwide Children's, because Akron almost killed her. She's gotten the best medical care at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
I want to start off by saying first, unless you have Medicaid where everything is covered do not bother.(I had it in the past and was grateful for the time I had it so no I’m not hating on those who have it, I’m jealous lol).My experience was nothing but horrible here. My son needed tubes put in his ears. They did the surgery and sent me a bill for over 1000 which I was expecting so fine, I’ll pay that bill. The staff are amazing here with the kids. Very well versed in handling them an talking about there interests to alleviate any anxiety they may have.
Nationwide children's hospital is amazing they saved my daughter's life, not once but twice! We are forever grateful that she had such great care from all the staff at Nationwide!
While grateful to have a pediatric ER and hospital near us, we have had some pretty unimpressive experiences so I don't have a high degree of trust in Nationwide. Must notably my daughter needing an ultrasound for a neck mass. Two ultrasound reports from Nationwide said NOT thyroid or parathyroid, declared just mass of unknown origin and monitor for growth.
