I've had my vehicle a week and one day now the engine light is on won't hardly shift I don't have the money to have it looked at I can't even go long distance with it wasn't supposed to be nothing wrong with it

This guy sold me a 2003 Ford Mustang and said nothing was wrong with it. He also mentioned that he had replaced all fluids in it before selling to me. Within the first week of me owning the car, the alternator went out. I didn't get to it for about two weeks, so during that time, I wasn't driving the car. I replaced the alternator, and then the brakes went out. At this point, I had only droven the car for about 1000 miles. I proceeded to look under the car and find 2 leaks.
