Impossible to get a return call after messaging. Impossible to contact the practice by email. No email. I spoke with the Maclean practitioner. They couldn't find a surgical appointment because it was at the National Harbor location. She couldn't connect with them. I had to call. I called on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Left messages. No return call. When I last saw the Dr. I expressed my frustration. He said he just saw one of my messages from 4 or 5 days but hadn't contacted me. Not good. Dr Kendall and staff are great. What make the rating a 3 is the lack of phone support. I had a telemed appt but was locked out of the portal. I called many times only to be bounced to voicemail each time. I have left many requests for a return call over the past 12+ years only to have to call back again and again to get through. It’s sad, that the medical care is so good but the communication is so bad.
I’ve been a patient at this practice for many years, and after working with several other NPs and PAs, I can confidently say that my experience over the past 9 months with Bahia Chacal, PA has been exceptional. Having seen several other assistants throughout the years, the difference is clear.
