Horrible experience. They changed prices on me three times. The movers smoked marijuana in front of my home while picking up and the smoke went through my home. Additionally, they never delivered my items. Instead, they dropped them off 15 miles from my new homes location and then called me to pick it up. The problem was, they would not give me the location until I paid the remainder of the contract, EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER DELIVERED MY THINGS!!! I would never recommend them for anything. I moved with National Moving Systems and I have to say that it was the most smooth move I have had, and I have moved many times in my life. The people I spoke with on the phone provided good customer service and were able to answer all my questions. When move day came, the truck showed up in the time frame that I was given. I felt the guy were professional and appreciated the way that they handled my stuff. My items all made it without any damages, which you never know when you move long distance. I love this company! I am so relieved I went with them. I moved from Denver to Ft. Lauderdale 2 months ago and I reserved my move with a company who my mother in law set me up with, they claimed to be a "professional mover". After speaking with Luke at National I discovered the company my mother in law was trying to have me go with was actually a broker and had really bad ratings with the BBB. If you want to give yourself a huge headache while you are planning to move, hire the company National Moving Services. On the day of the move, the movers came 7 hours later than what they promised. 7 HOURS LATE. Once they finally came, the boss began yelling at me saying he needed to get started. I was enraged for a few reasons: 1. The movers came late. 2. The amount I was told over the phone was not the correct amount and I had to Pay twice as much as i was originally told. 3. This was a horrible expeirence. Multiple lies and broken promises. Poorly trained driver and customr service. Here is our story, I hope it helps. After several calls and schedules for delivery that end up being cancelled, the driver gave us 6/18/15 date to be our official delivery date. Driver arrived around 1:30pm on the indicated date. However, it took the driver 1.5 hours before he would pull into alley to get items unloaded with limited time for building garage to be loaded and reserved use of freight elevator.
