No live interpreter for third time and VRI isn't working real well.
We love all the specialists such as GI, Neurology, ID, Orthopedics, Cardiology, just to name a few! We also love the nursing staff, social work lab staff and respiratory!! oh and let's not forget all the housekeeping staff who are so kind and pleasant and the volunteers who are amazing! We moved to Omaha to be closer to Children's in order for our kids to receive the absolute best medical care possible!! We love Children's!!!
My daughter just had surgery at Children's Hospital. Everyone there from the time we checked in was just excellent. And I can't say enough about her surgeon Dr. Shahab Abdessalam, he is absolutely awesome and provided excellent care for my daughter. I want to thank everyone there who made a very stressful time go as well as it did. Thank you all so much for taking such great care of my daughter!
My granddaughter has been there since last Saturday and only today did she the hospitalist. This is our second stay here. Most of the day nurses are cold and not at all helpful. Honestly, the nicest people have been the dietary people that deliver the food. I realize that these nurses had to work a twelve hour shift on Christmas, but at the end of your shift you go home to your loved ones. This place is a damn joke. My 1 year old daughter stopped breathing and turned purple several times and they send her home saying she’s fine. I do not recommend this place at all. Every time I take my kids there they never do crap. Ever.
Our daughter received the best care here. Her team of nephrologists continue to give excellent care. The physicians and nurses we worked with were all amazing as well.
