I wish I could tell you that it was a pleasant experience, but after 6 months of trying to get one account taken care of, I gave up. The lawyer handling the case, Charmaine ******-*********, obtained a settlement agreement, but changed the amount of the deposit I needed to make about 5 times. At first, though, she proposed a settlement where I would have to add a large amount to my deposit with FDR. I think it was July of 2019 I filed with Freedom Debt Relief for credit card settlements. I think it was in December or January AMEX filed a law suit in Alaska court system, possibly thinking I did not have the funds to fight them. NLLG stepped in and was able to come to an agreeable settlement. I would recommend them to anyone needing credit card settlement!
