I would not recommend BlueDot / Rotech based on my experience managing supplies for my son who has a tracheostomy. Trach supplies are life-sustaining respiratory equipment, yet we continue to experience delays almost every month. This means my son, who depends on these items for airway care, has been placed in a situation where we risk running out of critical medical supplies. My aunt and I have been ordering from this company for years. Her supplies were coming on time, and it was a complete order. Now, 2024 January, nothing but incomplete trach care orders, and when I call the company, I was told we are out of that. What???? What do I do now? I had to order online when my aunt had insurance to pay for her supplies. The supplies purchased came from my family's pockets. Do not use this company- do not let the hospital automatically sign you up with this company (which is what happened to us, sent home with oxygen). Its criminal how impossible they make it to cancel service. They do not answer the phone, and when they do they are incredibly rude and unhelpful. They will run both you and your doctors office through days of providing paperwork; and they only accept a fax in order to cancel service and then say their fax number is not working. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
In 2022 Got Covid. When came home needed Oxygen Equipment for a few months. Got ALL TURNED IN. We'll Now September 2025. Asbestos Damage to Lungs. Need Oxygen to live. Doctor sent orders in. Nothing. Yesterday came to find out. Insurance Co. Said I had Equipment . Come to find out. Till Now. Blue Dot has been billing Insurance Co. Since 2022 till Now. All Equipment and Supplies. No other way to say this but absolutely Pathetic. Customer service today was rude, unprofessional and simply unpleasant. People who are calling are probably not in good health or it may be the person giving care to the family member or patient. There is absolutely no need or excuse to be rude and so unhelpful. If you hate your job so bad go work somewhere else. Someone needs to go in and clean house and get a leader who will straighten this place out and by reading all of the bad reviews clearly what I am saying is accurate.... read more
