For some reason, rental cars are not always available for reservations at National as well as other companies I have used in the DC area, during holidays. However, National will call to inform you. I especially love the customer service at the DC Union station location. They are very professional and flexible.
Be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour to get a car, so schedule accordingly because service at this facility is null and void.
Fast, friendly, professional staff. Great cars, easy efficient process, and consistently amazing- I love renting with National.
I arrived a bit early by about 20 minutes and their system decided to charge me 15x the quoted rate for whatever reason. When I presented the quote with my reservation, the staff immediately made the necessary adjustments and refunded me the difference. Easy peazy. Great customer service.
