My first time flying into Midway, Emerald Executive level, had very friendly and helpful staff (they even helped me with my bags!) Checkout staff were just as friendly and helpful. Great selection of vehicles, SUV was clean inside and out. I would definitely recommend National Midway Airport.

As an Emerald member with only occasional need of a rental, I was quite pleased by the team at National. No pressure to buy any insurance I didn't need or options. This was my first experience of them driving my car to the luggage and offering me an upgrade at no charge. The value was excellent! No problems with the car. It was just as pleasant and easy on the drop-off.
Emerald is the only way to go. Quick rental out of the lot in no time, super friendly staff upon the return, was running late and basically ran from there and got all smiles and good wishes. email receipt helps tons!
I always have a great experience at National. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They always have an excellent selection of cars available. I never have a bad car or experience.
Emerald Club member using the Emerald Aisle, limited selection so I ended up with a Ford Focus with ~29000 miles and two no-name mismatched tires. Oh and a 6 month out of date Massachusetts state inspection.

While general signage at the greater rental car lot leaves something to be desired, the National staff was great in quickly setting me up with a car of choice (VW Passat Wolfsburg edition, in this case). In returning the car to the airport, my intention to top off the tank was foiled by some faulty navigating on my part and I dropped the car off without attending to this little matter. I've rented at many places in the past and admittedly it's been a while since I've had to rent cars while on business, but going with National and the Emerald program this time around (June 2015) was the best way to go. Upon landing at the airport, you get an email confirming your reservation with instructions (basically "pick a car in the aisle and show your ID on the way out"). Return was just as smooth; vehicle met all my expectations, but service was exceptional! No need to look elsewhere for the next rental!
