VERY - POORLY - MANAGED ; I walked into this location on a Tuesday afternoon and asked to reserve a car for " pick-up service " for Wednesday morning at 08:30. They asked me to " Phone them to remind them " at 08:00. Really ?? So i phoned them at 08:00 on Wednesday morning to remind them. I was out on the street waiting at 08:30 for the pick-up service. Rent a 3 tonne truck for a month every year from this location. Staff are pleasant to work with and look after me and my rental if there’s any issues.
Needed a rental in an instant and although they said there were none available. One of the workers asked for us to wait a moment and all of a sudden, he found one for us! And at a great rate too
I'm very disappointed with the service from National Car Rental in Victoria. Just a week earlier, we successfully rented a car from them using a debit card without any issues. However, during our next rental attempt – despite having a confirmed reservation – we were denied the car simply because we didn’t have a credit card. This lack of consistency in their policy, along with the staff’s unwillingness to offer any flexibility or assistance, was incredibly frustrating, especially while traveling.
