We opened a business account with National Bank and it was a complete waste of time. Both the staff and management seemed unfamiliar with basic financial procedures and their own internal policies. We had to explain our situation twice, and now we’re being told to go through the entire process again with a different team. Extremely disappointing experience. We expected much better organization and professionalism from a major bank.
The people working here are nice, however the branch doesn’t do any cash transactions. Therefore, foreign exchange is not possible at this branch and you will need to go to another one.
Needed a bank draft near to the closing hour, but the very nice gentleman, John Marco helped a lot to do all the needed checks very patiently, professionally, and politely and got it for me even 15min after the closing hour. This was all I needed... best customer service.
No cash Long wait times for calls (not branch specific) The call center customer service doesn't know what the branches actually can do. E.g. you cannot make cash loan payments, but I was specifically told to bring cash to the branch Very basic online banking for loans. Only shows the balance amount. The actual people working in the branch were nice though.
