Do to there billing the wrong insurance company.i ended up having a headach 4 years. Still trying to get straighten out. And my credit shot .when I had 2 insurance s at the time

My mother had a four mile ride and some oxygen, which generated a bill for $1,348.25! The company is billing Medicare for this amazing rate. When I called on it, I was told the "base rate" is $1,009. We have paid bills of a couple hundred for similar services with other providers. This is outrageous price gouging, in my humble opinion. I wouldn't put even one star, if I could.

National Ambulance needs to update their transportation vehicles. The ambulance I rode in was antiquated and rather shabby on the inside. As another reviewer commented on, the not altogether professional staff are too focused if not altogether overly aggressive about miscellaneous paperwork being reviewed and signed for while in transit. This is supposed to be an ambulance taking a patient to the hospital for god's sake! Get the secondary information concerning billing from the hospital and upon arrival.

This company is negligent in there service and care if those that they take to hospital. They drove me around in circles and told me I had to sign paperwork before they would take me to the hospital. Now they refuse to even try to bill excellus. They expect me to do there work for them. I wonder who in the city of Rochester is getting paid under the table to allow this kind of extortion.
