I read plenty of reviews everywhere but I still needed a cheap room so I stayed here for the night. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for cheap place with all the amenities. All those who complained about this place are crazy. I think under $50/night, the place has fridge, cable, microwave, breakfast, coffee !!! What more do you need??? This is a very bare bones hotel. Bed, bathroom, TV and fridge that all work. You get what you pay for with this place. Rooms were clean and in good repair. All furnishings were well used, but functional. No bugs and very quite. Staff was friendly and wanted our buisness unlike some of the other places in town that we called.

We had a couple of good nights sleep in this hotel after long hiking hours in mesa verde. This is very near to mesa verde, as well as located in Cortez downtown, near one of the best Cortez restaurants - NERO's. The room is clean and well maintained at reasonable price. The pool is open till 10:30 pm.
