I would like to start by saying that the owner(s?) were understanding, apologetic, and really tried to assist us. That's why this isn't a one-star review We booked a room labelled non-smoking, but it smelled like smoke when we arrived. No big deal, talked to the owner/manager, got a new room. The big issue was that I found what I believe is a shed bedbug exoskeleton under the mattress in room 104, the new room. See for yourself, I took a picture. I did not end up staying.
This place is such a rip-off for the price. It should be a $50 hotel, not $100+. Upon arrival @ 3pm on a Tuesday, NO one at reception desk. Rang bell x2. A Indian lady appeared from a NAP! She couldn't find my reservation even though I had it on my phone. She got on the phone and called someone...Her Indian accent was hard to understand English and she had NO customer service skills. I've stayed here many times over the past 5+ years for work(pilot car). The rooms have always been clean & in excellent working order. The heat/ac works great, water pressure is great, cable has local & all other channels you'd like. Yeah, its outdated(if you want modern go pay 150+ at one of the many overpriced hotels in town), but the rooms are always clean & I've never seen any bugs or had an issue with bed bugs!!
