Shunt Surgery for NPI changed my life. Great discussions prior to surgery with every question answered professionally by Dr Zwagerman. I have regained walking ability that had been deteriorating. Talked to surgeon only once shortly after surgery but not necessary as I talked to physician assistants during my follow-up appointments.
They made the appt for us to come and called it a consultation, even though he already had one. Fine, thought it may help. We get there after a 2 hour drive to hear them say he doesn't need surgery. Umm... You couldn't have said that on the phone? Oh, then you couldn't collect the money from the state for the appointment. Gotcha! So patient is not competent enough to make or keep appts. yet, they call his number to make appts. I guess they make more by double booking and knowing he won't show.
