In 2022, my husband had hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Elmer. However, Dr. Elmer never prescribed ANY post op physical therapy for my husband. I understand that by not doing so, the good doctor gets more money from insurers. As a result of the doctor's negligence, my husband had a very difficult time recovering, was in pain and unable to walk. Very rude, answers questions with sarcasm. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
Had a ruptured Achilles tendon. had surgery by Dr. Nathan Ehmer, DO and all went well that day. Aftercare was nightmare. Nathan saw i was infected, and he chose to not treat it. Not even a course of antibiotics. ended up getting another surgery and years of pain. The repair was not good anyway as the surgean that repaired my leg the second time showed me plastic what was like heavy fishing line that had been poking out of the skin of my leg. BTW he is very insulting, here is a quote "you would normally never be allowed in he... read more
Dr. Elmer was so enthusiastic and informative about my hip replacement. I feel better than I have in years and I’m able to play with my grandkids pain free.
I had a very poor experience with Dr. Ehmer. I broke my femur in 2013. The surgery performed by Dr. Ehmer resulted in my left leg more than 1.25 shorter than my right leg. The asymmetric forces on my knees and spine leave me with chronic pain. When I asked Dr. Ehmer if this result was within his expectation, he became defensive and confrontational. He actually suggested that the difference in leg length predated my accident! The proposed solution: remove 1.25 from my right femur!
