Guy was nice enough in person but ever since, this place has been an absolute nightmare. He switched my prescription to something I've never had before AFTER I told him I am on cannabis for PTSD and after 3 months he asked me to come in and take a pee test saying that if I had THC in my system he could not give me that prescription. Dr. Pekar's office Victory Medical charged me for an office visit even though I was only there for an annual physical, and they are refusing to remove the charge.
This is unfortunate because I initially thought he was a good doctor, but he has completely ghosted me after my physical. I made a request through the portal as he instructed me to, and it has been crickets from him and his team. I followed up at least four times. American doctors exhaust me.
Doctor Pekar is currently and have been my PCP for the past 6 years. His compassion and dedication to assuring his patients has the upmost health care is beyond great and welcoming. I highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a PCP in the Austin/Westlake area.
Have been seeing Dr Pekar for more than three years. Super friendly and really listens what’s going on with you. Highly recommend!!
