He listens, asks good questions, explains things well
Had a bed sore not healing properly. Dr. Mathews cleaned the area, found a infection. Prescribed the proper medication and a referral to a specialist. The original Dr. Treating this failed where Dr. Mathews provided the proper treatment.
Refered to me by my previous Dr who retired, Dr Matthew's definitely has my trust. He doesn't gloss over issues and strives to find the causes of what's wrong. His pleasant demeanor is always a comfort as well.
Dr Matthews is a wonderful provider. He is 100% present during exam. Listens to concerns, does a full exam and carefully explains diagnosis and plan of care. The office is friendly and professional.

I started seeing Dr. Matthews after my Dr of 30 years retired. I was worried as I was used to my previous Dr. But I need to say- Dr. Matthews is great! He explains things so I can understand. He takes time to get to know you. And listens. I have been happy having Dr. Matthews as my doctor.
Everyone in the office and Dr. Matthews staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Matthews listens to you and addresses your concerns. Prompt follow up and summary of your visit. Highly recommend him.
