Dr Haines is a very good doctor, but when you make an appointment expect to be there 2 hours plus waiting. I waited 3 hours 1 time. I'm currently waiting now and it's coming up on 2 hours. I only come back because it's close to my home, literally 10 minutes. I think this is my last visit here, I can't take the extended wait time! Who waits 2 hours or more for an eye appointment! This is ridiculous!
Top Tier Expertise, Skill And Caring I have had 8 ophthalmologists over 25 years (lived in 5 states) and 2 of those doctors were at Bascom-Palmer (they display a banner labeling them as the #1 eye hospital in the US). Dr Haines is at the top of my list for the care he has given me. In the 4+ years he has been treating me, we have battled diabetic retinopathy and recently wet macular degeneration has entered the picture.
