I just had surgery with Dr. Deangelis yesterday. He is an exceptional physician/surgeon who takes the time to listen to the patient and answer any questions. It is evident that he genuinely cares about his patient's health. His knowledge, compassion and attention to detail give me confidence in my care. Dr. DeAngelis is one of a kind. I have had 2 procedures done and both Nathan and Rebecca are truly the best. They cared about me and my situation. Dr. DeAngelis always has made time for me. Due to his quick diagnosis and the arrangements he made in advance for me, I am now dealing with a melanoma issue that could certainly be a lot worse. My wife and I cannot thank you enough!

The irony of the director of surgery emailing me to thank me for my “confidence” in Dr. Nathaniel DeAngelis, it is almost as appalling as the director of nursing brushing off my official complaint by saying “reherniation is a known complication of hernia surgery.” In my experience, what actually happened is this: Dr. DeAngelis ignored every warning sign that I was bleeding internally, dismissed my repeated pleas for help, and sent me home while I was actively bleeding out, because he seemed more concerned about catching his ... read more
