I had an incredibly frustrating experience at a recent eye appointment for my 9-year old daughter’s myopia check. After checking in, we spent an hour going through various tests with the nurses. When Dr. Cheung finally came in, he handed me two prescription numbers. Background: I took my 2 boys that are 5 and 7.5 here for their first full checkup. Pros: -Very detailed review of every aspect, including dilating their eyes. the whole visit took bout 2 hours. Cons: 1) for one of my boys there was contradicting assessments between the technician and the dr who ultimately reviewed our results and therefore the results were "inconclusive" and we were recommended to do the whole process again next year. 2) the dilation was very painful for both boys and has kind of traumatized them, which I pr... read more
