Giving 2 stars, as I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he is neurodivergent (and if that's the case, he should be disclosing it upfront). Otherwise, it is hard (impossible) to beileieve that a professional would act the way he did during my visit and my 22-year-old daughter's visit. In addition to the lateness (over 45 min), he was rude (to the point of making comments with no filter), impatient, and seemed very focused on convincing both of us that we need to be using eye drops to prevent eye drynes... read more

I understand that everyone makes mistakes and I appreciate the individual attention given by the eye doctor.

My 8 year old is Deaf. We were told Dr Catterson would have no problem caring for her. He kept repeatedly shouting instructions at her while blocking the ASL interpreter so she couldn’t see to learn what he was asking of her. He was so impatient and demeaning that my husband and I finally ended the appointment. I can’t imagine he’d be patient with any kid, but he’s definitely not okay with a child with a disability. Just a warning for other parents.

My teenager went here and recieved unprofessional care. While my teen was trying to follow instructions during the exam, Dr. Catterson said "C'mon buddy", and sighed deeply and shrugged. He seemed impatient with him during the entire appointment. We won't be going back.
