I can not express how thankful we are to have found Dr Kerkow. Our entire family has been with her for years …even before she came to St Tammany Physician Network. Not only is she thorough with her exams, she is so caring and compassionate. My adult children still see her. She does a lot of research on drugs and knows what’s in her patients best interest. Dr. Kerkow is amazing. While she understands the importance of medicine and the value of quality; she also understands that patients have boundaries in their medical treatment. Her bedside manner is 2nd to none. I will never see a different PCP as long as Dr. Kerkow is in practice.
I had a first time appointment with the doctor today. Really enjoyed meeting her. She was personable and professional and thorough. I didn’t feel rushed and I appreciated her genuine concern. Very happy that she will be my PCP.
Horrible service. We arrived at 5:30 with no patients in the waiting room and they would not see my child. I explained the other clinics were closed but they didn’t care. Horrible service. This type of experience is a direct reflection of the leadership and doctors that run the clinic. If you aren’t in the profession to serve then get out. Get new staff that are customer-friendly and kind. If you want to close early then fine, change the hours of operation.
Dr. Kerkow is timely, friendly, calm and efficient. I always feel that she takes the time to talk through various health issues and even has a sense of humor!
Dr Kerkow has been my PCP for over a year and a half since moving to the North Shore. Incredibly glad I found her. She is THUROUGH, very sharp and has a great bedside manner. I trust her implicitly. IF I had any negative comments it would be that I am hard of hearing and her strong French accent has me asking her to repeat herself ??, we often end up laughing trying to sort it out. AAA+++
We went to see Dr.Richard at his last appt time of 5:15pm on a Monday, after my husband had been in the hospital all weekend for a possible heart attack. We left the hospital very confused, so many different opinions, and many questions left answered. Dr Richard took the time (1 hour and 25 minutes) to answer every question and go over ever detail. I have had great experiences as one of Dr. Richard’s patients. I have always been seen quickly, he listens closely, he is knowledgeable and his staff is also very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Richard if you are new to the area and looking for a PCP or if you need a new one.
Twice canceled appointments when I was suffering from a pinched nerve and wouldn't adjust his schedule to fit me in for fifteen minutes.
