I ordered a Margarita and it had a roach in it. Then they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted free crawfish, umm hell no, you have ROACHES.
I rarely ever review places, but I figured I would put in my 2 cents here. - alligator tasted from frozen and didn't come with a good sauce (Pappadeaux alligator runs circles around Nates) and it was $15... - bread and hush puppies were completely drenched in oil. - prices are outrageous - server was decent but took 10 minutes to find a hostess - atmosphere is good for what it's trying to be (a hole in the wall good cheap Cajun place)....however this is none of those. I will go to Pappadeaux before this place ANY day.
Last friday we decided to go to Aw Shucks in lewisville instead of Nates for our weekly 15 pound crawfish feast. The traffic was terrible and because we live north of Denton, we were just trying to miss the traffic. NEVER AGAIN. Although Aw Shucks is great, there is just no substitute for Nates crawfish. See you this week. BEST CRAWFISH IN TEXAS. NO CONTEST
I liked first time there waiter deville was super thanks dude next time (and will be next time for sure) we'll make sure leave more tips the crawfish taste was super couldn't find same taste since hooters decided to offer no more crawfish well done Nate's
I really had high hopes for the food here from what others had told me. So ordered the seafood platter to give me the chance to try a little bit of everything and it wasn't all that great since didn't have the flavors that was expecting from a Cajun place.
Horrible service.... Food was not good crab cake undercooked... Baked potato no butter brought out but in little containers like for toast....Waiter to busy would disappear....
The food was great today 1/15/2016 at noon. Had Shrimp n Crab Etoufee, always good. Next time it'll be Oyster PoBoy n Cup of Gumbo.
