Everything i tried was better than the thing before. The peacemaker, delicious! The blackened shrimp en brochette amazing...try tge white sauce on it. The best sweet potatoe fries ive had in texas so far. The oyster shooter...absolutely divine. This place will become my new hotspot. I cant wait to go again. The bartender Paul was so nice and patient with us trying so many dishes. I cant wait to go back.

RecommendedI'm from Eunice, LA, which is in the heart of Acadiana. This is the closest to home that I have ever been. Papadeaux and Razoos are overrated and the crawfish are overpriced there. I lived in Addison in 2003-2005 and never went to Nates until, 3 years ago, when my best friend and I decided to go and indulge. We have been enjoying it since. We moved here from NOLA so we thought we'd give Nates a try. Right when you open the door the stench of cigarettes hits you in the face. We asked to be seated as far away from the smoking section as possible. My husband, myself and our 3 yr old were seated and waited...and waited.....and waited. There were other empty tables so the place wasn't packed. No one came to even take our drink order. After 20 minutes, we left. Absolutely the best seafood in Tx, My first-time there and the customer service was amazing, Everyone was a team player & everyone tagged team the tables around them, Staff was very friendly & professional. This will be my favorite place now.
