Nate Wilson-Traisman made a tremendous impact on my son's development regarding the mental side of his favorite sport. I've been seeing Nate for a while now and he's great. What stands out most is how well he communicates. He explains things in a way that actually makes sense instead of using a bunch of therapy jargon, and he actually helps you understand why he’s taking a particular approach, and what it’s trying to solve. He also really knows his stuff when it comes to anxiety. He clearly has a ton of experience treating it, and has seen a lot. Feel like he’s truly tailoring to needs and not just working out of a textbook.
Nate was invaluable in assisting with our football program as we started our season. He presented to our student-athletes about performance anxiety and how to optimize their athletic ability and perform up to their potential.
Nate coached my 13u/14u baseball team for two years. He was one of the most impactful coaches because of what he had to teach us. He was the first person to make me realize how important the mental aspect of sports is. He covered some tough grasp concepts and i feel they have helped me alot on and off the field. The biggest key to all this success was how approachable and willing to listen nate was. There is no-one else i would recommend to learn about or deal with the mental aspect of sports.
Nate did a great job in breaking down the mental game for our team. Not only did he create a number of simple strategies for our guys to follow, but he also did an excellent job of simplifying why athletes tend to have mental struggles in the first place. His delivery was paced well, easy to understand and right on the money for what our guys needed to hear.
