We had an appointment on March 20, 2026 with Eric Finkiel, NP, at the practice of Dr. Natarajan Elangovan regarding serious concerns about my wife’s condition, including withdrawal, fatigue, and possible medication dependence. We explained she was not doing well and asked about adjusting or tapering her benzodiazepine medication. Dr. Elangovan overprescrived Klonopin to me for two years. NO ONE should be on benzos for more than a few weeks and even then, should only take them as needed-not everyday. I learned this was wrong during my time as a substance abuse counselor. I was forced to quit my job to deal with the withdrawals and developed post-acute withdrawal syndrome (known as PAWS). Very caring doctor Going to him for many years Definitely I personally recommend
I have been a patient of Elda Ziko NP since mid 2023. She has always taken time during each session to really listen to me. Other practitioners just push meds without really taking the proper time to understand the issues and address properly. If you need help, I have 100% confidence that you will be in good caring hands with Elda.
I’ve now seen three different doctors from this practice since 2017. At one point, one of their stand-in doctors made me so uncomfortable I had to report it. On top of that, almost always do they forget to refill my prescription even after I call and remind them. There was a point on a holiday weekend where I spoke to two different people and left multiple voicemails and they still forgot and I was without meds for 5 days and I felt so ill.
