I highly recommend Dr. O'Neill and am so thankful that she was my son's surgeon. She performed the surgery for my son's inguinal hernia repair and I really appreciated how thorough she was in answering all our questions and explaining things. My son ended up having a somewhat rare allergic reaction to his sutures several months post surgery and Dr. O'Neill and her team were amazing at getting Landon seen and quickly scheduled for another surgery to remove the offending suture. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. O'Neill! She was so positive and so kind yesterday when I took my 11 year old son to meet her about his chest wall concerns. She spoke to him directly and respected his opinions. She spoke to us both in ways that showed compassion, understanding, connection, and respect. She did not talk down to us but explained what was going on and his options clearly and in a fun way he could relate to. She considered the whole person in thinking about his medical needs. Dr O'neill repaired two hernias on my 10 week old daughter. Her bedside manner was absolutely amazing. I have an anxiety disorder and she made me feel completely comfortable having my baby girl in her care. She explained the surgery in detail, kept us posted during surgery and even showed us pictures afterwards of the repairs done laprascopically. So thankful we had her for a surgeon.
