Professionally: She did not order one lab. She does the bare minimum. Due to there being a shortage of rheumatologist in the area, she knows that she will make business anyway. Personal: She treated me like she receives little fulfillment in her own life and questions her own existence. Advice: RUN!

This woman diagnosed me with post covid syndrome 5 years ago and I ended up having 3 very rare and complex autoimmune diseases that if diagnosed then could’ve potentially changed my life. And then when I said I wanted to see her partner, not her for a second opinion I was denied care. I waited 6 months for my appointment with her and she wouldn’t even look at photos of my rashes. If you have a complex case I would look for someone who actually cares. I can’t believe the way I was treated by this woman and it is still somethi... read more

She said “well you’re not severe so you’re fine” I said well what is severe a flare, so... read more

I was very sick years ago after my first pregnancy/pre-eclampsia and had a sky high ANA and complained about lupus concerns: fatigue, joint pain, sun sensitivity, butterfly rash, hair falling out, so much so that it changed my career path as a pre-olympic equestrian (couldn't be in the sun without dizziness and flares). I trusted her judgement that she would test for lupus and having a specialty in rheumatology (she didn't test) and I was overwhelmed, ill, postpartum, and also not a medical student. The impetus for knowing t... read more
