The front desk staff was nice and the hotel was in a great location, but those were pretty much the only high points. The rooms were not very clean, and there had to be some kind of issue with ventilation or the carpets, because I and several of my coworkers were coughing and sneezing uncontrollably, watery itchy eyes, etc. while inside the building. I was a guest to a wedding held here, as well as a hotel guest, at the Nassau Inn. For the price of nearly $500 for 2 nights, I felt let down by the stay. The building is centrally located in downtown Princeton, a few blocks from Princeton University and in the middle of Palmer Square. It is a historic building, which is nice. I have stayed here twice now for work and the hotel is DIRTY! Hairs in the bed, stained sheets, moldy bathrooms, crumbs in carpet and on chairs, backed up toilets. Food is also terrible. Do not recommend.

I grew up in the area and for a reunion decided to book a suite for myself. The only thing I enjoyed about my day was the location and the public areas of the hotel. My room was the saddest plainest beige I’ve ever seen in my life. The furniture was like something out of a motel six on the side of the highway. It had a large brown dining table and very cheap generic furniture in the living room. There was not one piece of art on the wall. Nothing to warm up this space whatsoever.
