Beware of billing practices with Nassau Anesthesia. They attempted to direct bill us half of what they charged insurance and was paid out by insurance (over 12k). Called their billing multiple times to inquire and was told every time it was legitimate that we owed what insurance didn't pay. They probably thought we were suckers. Called insurance who confirmed that we were never to be billed directly by Nassau, ever. Worst experience I have everything had with a hospital visit. I'm getting billed $4700 for anesthesia for a minor surgery. I have insurance and they were in network but my insurance won't pay. I was never informed of this before my surgery or I wouldn't have had it done. I truly feel they jacked the price up figuring insurance was going to negotiate the price. Now I have a $4700 bill and I refuse to pay a dollar because I feel I'm getting ripped off. Anybody dealing with them watch out they are a predatory company.
