We had a wonderful experience taking a stained glass class at Glassville with Martha. She was incredibly personable, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole class feel relaxed and enjoyable from the start. Martha did a great job guiding us through every step of the process. She taught us how to properly cut the glass, how to apply the copper foil that holds the solder in place, and how all the pieces come together to form the finished design. My teen and I took a beginners stained glass class here and it was AMAZING. We left with beautiful art, and apparently a new hobby. 😅 Went through all the steps and was delighted about how easy it was for real beginners. Remember if you think you made a mistake: everything can be fixed! And it was true in our case. There were several choices of models (4-5), along with an array of glass colors, etc. We both chose the sun option, but there are definitely options for everyone. Such a fun, unique experience. Martha went above and beyond to squeeze us into a short-notice class for a special occasion. The class was super hands-on — we learned every step of making stained glass and made our own pieces from start to finish. Martha is a great teacher: patient, encouraging, and clearly so passionate about her craft. 10/10 would glass again!
My family had a great time creating art and memories. It was the first experience with stained glass for all of us. Martha was a patient and knowledgeable teacher. Thank you for the delightful experience!
