When my wife told me that she had organised a sunset cruise for my 60th birthday I wasn't sure what to expect. However, the 4 hours sailing on the Narwhal was one of the most magical experiences of my life. Captain Eric is the most congenial host. He provided refreshments, information about the sights we saw and expert sailing in equal measures. Highly recommend this excursion. Captain Eric was great. The sailboat, Genesis, was amazing. I proposed by the Brooklyn Bridge...unforgettable experience.
We sailed with NYC last Friday while on vacation in the city to celebrate my boyfriend's 40th birthday!! The trip was great- great weather, great company and a great captain! The boat is beautiful. The views are incredible. Eric is truly passionate about his home and his work and he is more than accommodating to his guests. Thank you again, Eric!! There are standard yacht tours in New York and then there is Eric's yacht tour! Eric is the most down to earth guy you could meet who meticulously looked after us from the minute we stepped photo foot on his amazing boat. My breath was taken away the first time I saw the boat and felt more than comfortable proposing to my partner as Eric manoeuvred the boat for the perfect sunset photo while on one knee! I sailed with Eric on the Genesis for a very special occasion, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The boat is beautiful, Eric is a passionate and welcoming captain. Seing the sunset over the Manhattan skyline from the deck of the boat is a moment I'll never forget. A million thanks to Narwhal Yacht Charters and its amazing captain!
My wife and I had a great time with Captain Eric. We've done two trips, the first with a group of friends where we rented out the whole boat and the second with several other strangers who had booked trips. I would never have believed it but it was even more fun with the strangers. Captain Eric has a great way of making everyone feel at home and by the end of the trip, you'll be friends with everyone on board.
