Always a treat to eat here. I've never stayed since I live locally, but I often eat here. The food is always absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced, good sized portions, and the service is always top notch. The place is clean, comfortable seating, not too loud, and the outdoor patio area is just as nice as the seating inside. Good disabled access, decent parking, and the train station is directly across the road. There's also a service station next to it which is convenient.
