Was out of town for work in Virginia and my trip was extended. I was running out of my Ramipril and Amlodapine for high blood pressure. I called to get a refill and was denied since it was a year since I seen the Dr. They were not able to make an exception for me based on my situation. Since it would have been 3 weeks without meds I had to see a Dr. Over there. You know if your 5 minutes late they will rebook you and charge the co-pay. Dr. Whitelaw is extremely knowledgeable. She’s a great diagnostician.
If I could give zero stars I would. It's not a good sign if you have the first appointment of the day and have to wait 45 minutes to be seen, with no explanation from the staff regarding the delay. Also, it's almost 2024 and we're still doing the thing where medical offices expect patients to wear masks but then the staff walks around with their masks pulled down under their chins? Not impressed.
Worst most disorganized care provider I've had the displeasure of visiting. I saw the doctor in April, I called the office twice asking about my balance and was told both times "our billing department is closed try again later" never got a bill notification by mail, email or phone until September when I finally recieved a notice that I was going to be sent to collections. Now today, I got another bill from a lab they ran in May that is apparently billed separately but the doctor didn't file it until December. I'm livid, no o... read more
