Patel is the best psychiatrist I have ever had and I would highly recommend him to anyone with mild psychiatric issues. I'm not certain that he visits psychiatric hospital patients but he has an excellent knowledge of available medications and the side effects of those medications. He is also familiar with thing that can improve your well being as well as those things that might threaten your well-being and can assist you in being as satisfied as possible. I wouldn't be here if not for Dr Patel! That's a fact. I am indebted to him for his insight and expertise. From the first time (12 years ago), I called. He didn't ask me what insurance company I had - like every doctor (psych or other) asks before they even ask for your name! His first question... "Why do (I) need a psychiatrist?" I have so much respect for him from the get-go, and he's NEVER disappointed me.
