I do not recommend Dr. Ruiz. During my visit, I felt dismissed and unheard as a mother. While trying to discuss concerns about my child, Dr. Ruiz became visibly frustrated during the conversation instead of patiently explaining things to me. I would like to commend Ms. Sheria Magee! After scheduling an appointment for my granddaughter who was having an earache over the phone with a lady at the Metairie office, I rushed to get to the NOLA office within an hour only to find out we had no appointment. The lady I spoke never put it into the computer. Needless to say I was very upset after taking the day off from work, traveling 45 minutes and rushing to get there in time.
