I had an emergency abdominal surgery (perforated bowel) performed by Dr. JB Brockman. He took on my surgery knowing that I had multiple conditions with possible complications. I developed no infections and recovered well from the surgery. Dr. Brockman subsequently performed another (scheduled) surgery on me (parastomal hernia repair and colostomy reversal) which also went fabulously with no infections or complications, even though I have slow wound healing.
