I want to be fair: I had several positive visits here and genuinely appreciated that Dr. De La Riva and her team accommodated my preference to forgo anesthetic. The clinical care itself was competent, and I'm giving two stars rather than one because of that history. Came in extremely nervous and scared, I don't do well at the dentist at all. Dr. Mikha is amazing!! She put me at ease explaining enough to make me comfortable but not enough that I would overthink and get nervous. I can say Naples Dental in Chula Vista was truly my worst dental experience ever. In nearly 20 years of getting my teeth cleaned regularly at other dental offices, with really no complaints, that long streak was broken at Naples. According to Naples, a routine cleaning or Prophylaxis is simply polishing the teeth-The step all other dental personnel use at the end after a real cleaning.
