We were on several waiting lists to get our son evaluated and tested for some developmental delays and behavioral issues. Dr. Gershon was able to fit my son in after being on the wait list for about 4-5 months. We had three appointments in one week: the assessment/observation (~1 hour) the testing (~1.5 hours) and the parent-only feedback session (~1 hour). Upon reviewing our family history, our son’s early development, preschool findings, behavioral challenges, etc, Dr. Gershon used the ADOS-2 test to test our son for autis... read more

Dr. Gershon is incredibly knowledgable about the supports and medications that can help children with developmental disabilities thrive in school and in life. She really takes the time to get to know a child and the family to develop a treatment plan that works! She is warm, kind, and patient. She also knows many other practitioners in the field and is very helpful in identifying complementary therapies or activities. We feel so lucky to have found her; she practices medicine the way I think we all wish it were practiced all... read more

Dr. Gershon is knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and kind. We’ve been working with her for about 5 years and she’s been a lifeline during some very challenging times. I’m so grateful for her support and guidance. Her expertise is invaluable for families that are struggling with (complex) diagnoses, medication management, and understanding supports and services for kiddos with special needs. Highly recommend.

Dr. Gershon has been supporting our family and caring for our son since he was 9. By that time, our child had seen many different providers, but it was Dr. Gershon who expertly put together all the diagnostic pieces that previous providers had not. Our son is now a teenager, and Dr. Gershon has been a key part of his care and development. She has also connected us with other professionals to build a team who understand our child’s unique profile. We appreciate and value the amount of time she dedicates to each visit, ensurin... read more

I debated for quite a while whether or not to write this review but I hope I can help another family out by doing so. We were referred to Dr.Gershon about a year and a half ago due to our 2.5yo son having a speech delay and waited months to get the appt. She did her 1hr evaluation in her office and we received a diagnosis of Autism. During the diagnosis appointment, she stated “in a year he may outgrow this”. Some of the diagnosis notes were that “he examined a cube”- it was a four-sided cube with different pictures on each ... read more
