Our guide Max Coffey made our zip lining and rafting adventure memorable and awesome ! After many trips to NOC since the 90's I would have to say this trip was in the top 3. The first trip changed my life inasmuch as it provided the inspiration for the creation of The Jupiter Outdoor in 1997 which led to the birth of Guanabanas , one of the most popular destination restaurants in Florida. Awesome time! We had horrible weather and the guides still made it a great adventure. Felt safe and had fun! I'm not sure if you can request guides, but if you can I highly recommend Perry for rafting (very knowledgeable!) And Josh and Chewy for zip lining!

Came to the NOC from iowa and I must say the rivers are fantastic along with the lodge! We've been kayaking a different river every day of the week with the exception of the Ocoee in which we paddled twice so far. Today makes it day 5/6 for us.... hard to keep track of the days when your having fun on the river!

Roaches, poor planning, and we ended up paying to sleep in our car. Would NOT recommend.
Tosh, Andrew, and Curtis provided excellent kayak instruction when I came to the NOC for the Creeking Weekend and tacked a day and a half more leading up to it. By the fourth day, I was paddling on the outer edges of my ability on the Cheoah yet had complete confidence that Tosh and Andrew would keep me out of trouble. And they did. Howard at the NOC is the man. I just bought a new mini Sawyer in Franklin NC and first day out back on the trail it broke. Being With limited sources as a thru hiker in the middle of the trail, trying to budget funds and make sure I'm drinking safe water it was stressful. We emailed Sawyer and never heard a word. When I stopped at the NOC with my husband and shared the story, Howard was super helpful and even called Sawyer to take care of the issue. Thanks so much for the help! You guys rock.
