RecommendedWe try to take all visitors to the NOC. It’s a beautiful spot, the kids can get their feet wet, the rafters and kayakers are fun to watch, the food and beverages are great, and the Appalachian Trail passes through the middle. In one visit you can hike the entire width of the AT!

RecommendedI’m the lady that was rescued on Thursday 5/30/19. Our two man duck boat capsized going over Nantahala Falls. The current was so swift that day. I remembered the instructions during orientation to keep my feet in front pointed downstream. Unfortunately my foot stuck in a rock crevice and the current kept pushing me downstream resulting in breaking my leg near my ankle. I have never been more frightened. RecommendedA thrilling adventure! Devin was our whitewater guide and he was awesome. He kept us entertained and informed and gave us a memorable experience. The ropes course challenges you in the best way possible. Enjoying a cold drink beside the water before going kayaking.
