Nantahala Outdoor Center is always a fun and leisurely way for us to spend a day. It’s a moderate workout for young and old alike so Grandparents out there....don’t be afraid to try it out! You’ll be really glad you did. And, you’ll have a commemorative photo to share with family and friends !
NOC is a wonderful place to visit. It is so relaxing to sit by the river and watch and hear the water flow along the rocks. The people are friendly there also. There are plenty of activities there that you really do not have to leave site for your stay. If you like the casino, you can drive 30 minutes east to Harrah's Cherokee, or 35 minutes west to Harrah's Valley River, Murphy. This place is great!!!
Stopped for dinner tonight. The food was great, staff was even better and you can’t beat the ambiance. We sat out on the porch overlooking the river. Fun stop on our drive through!

Nature Hiking 🥾 🥾 The Appalachian Trail, White Water 💦 Rafting, Kayaking, ZIP Lining & Beer 🍺 🍻. What more could y’all ask for?
This place is amazing.. we whitewater rafted with Cooper in the morning and then ziplined in the afternoon with Jack and Sinclair... all our guides were fantastic..so very safety conscious.. yet very fun loving.. Jack and Sinclair were a hoot.. you can tell they love what they do.. we hope to be back next year !!!
The staff are all tuned in to the visitors. They are all friendly and very helpful. A+++++++ :)
