Holy smokes this place is good! Iāve been several times now because it is just delicious. The first time I got the chicken thigh skewers which were great, the last time I went I got the Peri-Paradise wings and I think they are my new favorite wings ever! They also have so many good sauces to spice things up, my personal favorites are the garlic and the extra extra hot. I wish I took photos of the meals but we were too excited to eat. This place rocks and I will be bringing everyone I can here to share the love.Ā
I love Nando's. I started going in 2004 when moved to London. I was heartbroken when I left sinc, at the time, there were very few in the U.S.A. Now there is one in Austin and it's the same great food I had 20 years ago with some new items as well. I can't recommend it enough.Ā
The food & drink options were amazing. Portions were perfect. I had enough to eat dinner. Loved the sauce options. I tried a few and the garlic herb was perfect. Try the fried cauliflower. You will not be disappointed.Ā
Overall, Nando's is a pretty good restaurant with tasty food and a fun atmosphere. The concept is different and interesting. I wasn't a fan of the ordering system where one must ordering from a mobile phone. If they had another way to order in person, I would have preferred that. The food was tasty. The halloumi appetizer was superb. The chicken sandwich -- the reason for the 3 stars -- was tasty but the portion size was miniature. I wasn't sure if there even was any chicken hidden inside.
