I will not be going back to Dr. Schleider. The place is old and outdated, absolutely no technology or computerized records which worries me. The doctor was very nice and knowledgeable but the office was too disgusting to even want to be there in the first place. Also, the woman at the front desk refused to take the copay amount of $35 (she is in-network for me) and she said it would be $100 (cash or check ONLY) per visit until my deductible is met. THAT IS NOT HOW INSURANCE WORKS. Very unhappy.
While waiting in the exam room I couldn't help but notice the filth on and around the paper towel dispenser, sink and windows. When I go into an exam room I expect it to be spotless. It appeared the cleaning people just wiped everything off with a damp rag, no cleaning solvents at all. Maybe I am being too picky, but this is a doctors exam room and it should be CLEAN, especially the stainless steel.
